The dragon and damsel flies have become very important to our guide staff. This is a great pattern because it floats high and could represent both dragons or big damsel flies. Fish these when you see mid river risers, grass bank edges or mid river weed mats that damsels collect on.
*Fishing note-We have found that many times large smallies will simply sip these flies in. It is amazing to see a huge bass take a dragon or damsel like a cutthroat trout. The takes can be subtle so stay focused on the fly.
