This pattern fished dead drift can be deadly. We have taken numbers of large fish mid river on the Crystal Dragon. The trick to fishing this fly is to use floatant on both the fly line and fly to keep it floating high. Cast it out and keep the rod tip close to the water. Twitch ever so slightly to make the wings wiggle.
